Tony Todd (Candyman), Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th Part VII), Danielle Harris (Halloween 4), director John Landis (An American Werewolf in London), and a slew of other horror-movie veterans will guest on FEARnet‘s Holliston, a new sitcom created by Hatchet filmmaker Adam Green.

The show, which debuts April 3, stars Green and his fellow real-life gore-teur Joe Lynch (Wrong Turn 2, the forthcoming Knights of Badassdom) as a pair of cable-station employees who dream of becoming horror directors. Other guests on the show’s first season include Derek Mears (2009?s Friday the 13th remake), Bill Moseley (The Devil’s Rejects), and Ray Wise (Swamp Thing, Twin Peaks).

Holliston will regularly feature Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider, who plays Green and Lynch’s boss, and Oderus Urungus from the band GWAR, who essays a version of himself. “He lives in my closet and only I can see him,” says Green of Urungus’ role on the show. “He comes out from time to time to give me advice on whatever that week’s dilemma is. It’s always the worst possible advice somebody could give.

Anchor Bay Films has snagged North American rights to suspense thriller “The Victim,” starring Michael Biehn, Jennifer Blanc, Ryan Honey, Denny Kirkwood, Tanya Newbould and Danielle Harris. Deal was announced Friday by Anchor Bay Entertainment president Bill Clark.

Actor Biehn made his directorial debut on the pic from his own script. Story centers on a woman who witnesses a violent act at the hands of two sheriff’s deputies, flees from attackers and stumbles across a recluse living in the middle of the woods — which throws his solitary life into chaos.

“The Victim” was produced by Jennifer Blanc-Biehn, Lorna Paul and Travis Romero of Blanc/Biehn Prods. in association with Pegasus Prods. Exec producers are Brock Morse, Morgan Johnson and Ryan Honey of the Mud Show.

Stevan Mena and Vincent Butta of Crimson Films will be handling the theatrical release. “The Victim” is the third project Crimson Films and Anchor Bay Films have worked on together. Hogan Entertainment and Pegasus will be handling the college tour of the film. Deal was brokered by Kevin Kasha on behalf of Anchor Bay Films, with Preferred Content working on behalf of the filmmakers.

Danielle Harris recently won best actress at Shockfest. On the set of Ghost of Goodnight Lane she definitely carried her weight with some heavy hitting, blood drenched, scream worthy scenes. I was lucky enough to get to sit down with Danielle in an interview to find out a little more about her and the paranormal she has experienced in her many years as the “Scream Queen”. While Danielle did not have any run ins with our ghost on set, she did mention something I wasn’t expecting. Her own house is haunted. Apparently there is a spirit in her home that has gone so far as to turn on the fan in the middle of the night when she was in a dead sleep. Or turn on the lights when she was asleep. This same spirit liked to turn the volume up and down on her radio going from barely audible to blaring loud. One evening, Danielle happened to be entertaining friends and was telling the story of her paranormal visitor when the radio did exactly what she had said it would. As many would be, her guests were skeptical. But believe it or not, Danielle not only proved her point, she was able to tell the ghost what to do. Find out more on the special features behind the scenes of Ghost of Goodnight Lane and see just how much control Danielle Harris has with this ghostly being in her home. Just what all would it do to make itself known to her friends? You will have to wait and see…but even I was surprised.
