You heard right bitches! One of our favorite films The Victim is coming to a city near you soon! (Hopefully!) The victim will have a limited theatrical release Friday, August 24 from Crimson Films and PMK*BNC; however, the exact cities and venues have yet to be announced. A DVD release will follow after. Jennifer Blanc told us exclusively that the DVD will be available sometime this fall, hopefully September!

Did you miss Danielle on last nights episode of Holliston? Well don’t worry we have you covered! Check out the clip and images above.
What do you get when you mix parties, drugs and friends with sex and scandals? A lot of drama, and that’s what you’ll get with the movie Among Friends. It’s full of drama and gore. As you all know… or at least you should know, Danielle Harris took on her directorial debut with Among Friends, written by Alyssa Lobit (who also stars in the film). The film is about a group of friends who meet up for an 80’s theme party to play a game of murder mystery. Through the film, cast search around the home for clues and find some interesting items such as dismembered fingers and ears. They have no idea of what the night will bring them. I guess I should end this synopsis here because we don’t want to spoil it for you dedicated fans.
For Danielle’s first directorial debut, she did an amazing job! I personally wouldn’t have guessed that this was her first time directing because she did THAT GOOD for the budget of the film. Not only was the quality of the film good but the cast of actors was marvelous. You will spot Jennifer Blanc (The Victim) as Melanie, and she will for sure make you laugh and Kamala Jones (A Thousand Words) who plays Sarah; you are bound to fall in love with her character because she seems to be a real friend. Brianne Davis (Prom Night) plays as Jules and let’s just say she popped one too many shrooms and is sure to make you die from laughter. Alyssa Lobit (The Things We Carry) plays Bernadette or Bernie for short… but I’d be careful, I wouldn’t call her that if I were you! AJ Bowen (The Signal) stars as Adam, who is recovering from addiction… but not really. Christopher Backus (Elevator) is Marcus who likes to peep at girls getting it on. Chris Meyer (P.S) plays as Blane, who cheats on Sarah with one of the other girl friends. Also, Dana Daurey (Providence) stars as Lily, the lost victim who the cast is looking for throughout the movie.
When you get the chance to see this movie –DO IT! You guys won’t be disappointed. Danielle really delivered the goods with this film. It might also make you excited to know that you will actually get a little cameo of Danielle in the film, but we won’t go into detail about that. We personally without being biased here would rate the film 10/10 because for the budget of the film and the quality, we think it is well deserved. We enjoyed it completely!
Make sure to check out the pictures of Danielle’s first private screening of Among Friends. Come back soon for a review of the film!
According to an exclusive interview from Fangoria, Kane Hodder let us know that Danielle will be returning for Hatchet III! “Danielle [Harris] is back, which is great. We’re gonna shoot the whole thing in New Orleans this time, instead of most of it in LA and going down to New Orleans for one or two days to get Mardi Gras stuff, and I can’t wait.”
Hey guys! Please support Danielle and her directorial debut and like Among Friends on Facebook!

The Victim is my favorite bitch! As director Michael Biehn says, it’s a lot like cotton candy… it’s a treat! I had the opportunity to see the film on March 31st and I must say, the film was superb. Of course, the movie is for fun and isn’t meant to be taken too seriously. However, the cast did an amazing job. You will laugh, cringe, and will be over all, very entertained with the movie! Danielle was extremely believable from the beginning of the film to the end. I’m not going to get into spoilers, but she is in the movie throughout the whole thing. If you have the chance to see this movie, DO IT! You won’t be disappointed. 5/5
